So close to stopping the 9/11 attacks and yet, the CIA and FBI both dropped the ball. If any of you remember the months following 9/11 a lot of blame was placed on lack of interagency cooperation and here we have proof of the lack of said cooperation.

How would the world have been different if the CIA and FBI had talked and acted on their information?

I'm afraid the cynic in me thinks - but by not acting on information, it gives them the ability to claim that if only they had access to much more information, like phone calls, emails, web history of EVERYONE EVERYWHERE - then they might of been able to prevent it, despite there being no evidence that since they have gained access to all the extra information - they still haven't actually managed to prevent anything.

This article is so full of speculation and supposition that it really doesn't even qualify as news. To be honest given the recent events around the 9/11 attack it becomes clear that
this is just a diversion from the very real possibility of the Saudi Kingdom's involvement in the attacks.
