I'm seeing enough small things changed for the worse that I'm thinking of holding off on the upgrade. Microsoft seems to have been aggressive about dragging people back into their world. Did some old EU or US judgements expire?

I'm upset already.  One of my laptops which I bought through CompUSA with Windows 7 with a legal Win7 license can't be updated because Win 10 says the key is not valid.  Now I have to try and get in touch with Microsoft, do you know how difficult that is? grrrrr

Yeah ..same here. I honestly don't like windows 8 ..7 was okay...I'll wait on 10 ...or when 11 or 12 is out. That's probably when they will stop supporting vista.

I never had Vista. Went from WinXP to 7 and now to 10. I'm really liking 10's interface.

Downloaded and installed on my main laptop (Win8.1) last night/this morning.  I'll spend more time with it over the weekend, but first 10 minutes with it wasn't too bad at all.

I'm using it right now. Aside from my touchpad scrolling is is working backwards (but it would be natural on a tablet) everything is fine.

Jason ON I've got an external Ethernet adapter that appears not to function on this (the laptop doesn't have a hardline port...) but it did when it was on 8.1.  Need to confirm the hardware is still functional on another machine.  :/

I'm shutting down Google+ for the night and quite possibly for the weekend. Why? This stupid #gifwars thing people are so proud of. This Adam Black guy said he doesn't like gifs and now everyone is mass trolling him. Having been mass trolled like this I can relate to him easily enough. Have an opinion and the collective might of Google+'s lower class denizens jump on a bandwagon. I just saw a post where someone wanted to jump on board and had to get clarification she was tagging the proper Adam Black. She wasn't even connected to him ! Nor was she a part of the original discussion. She just wanted to follow the herd. When I called her out of it she claimed, "one gif doesn't make a troll." Perhaps not, but she's contributing to a larger troll effort. One straw doesn't break the camel's back, but thousands will. So, tonight, Google+ disgusts me. It probably will tomorrow as well. And possibly Sunday. I gave up Google+ for two months this spring
