I have a mesh jacket, padded etc. It's only hot at a dead stop. Heavy gloves light gloves and a mostly black (hot) helmet. Still better to be protected, long as your not passing out.

I forget that you can't lane split in CO. I can't stand to be stuck sitting in that kind of heat. I'd rather cage it. That's not riding, that's stopping.

I used to wear textile/mesh but watched a friend go down once in full leathers. He stood, brushed himself off and kept riding. I only wear leather now. And jeans.

I wear a white helmet and grey jacket. Really cuts down on heat build up over my flat black helmet and black jacket.

Ever since I've gotten what I (wrongly) believe is a "slow" bike I've gotten wicked lax with the gear. Especially when it's hot out.
