I have a friend who makes hand-made custom jewelry.

I have a friend who makes hand-made custom jewelry. She's looking for somewhere to sell her items, preferably with her own custom URL capabilities. She doesn't like Etsy due to some of the terms of service.

Anyone know any other sites that allow the selling of custom goods like that?

Does Google Apps have a retail storefront?

In the UK a lot of jewellers use Facebook to make their own business page, as it is so simple to upload photographs, interact with customers and collect a client base. Payments are usually by paypal direct with the seller or by Credit Card for the larger sellers.
Just one for example

A lot of people are switching to Art Fire.

She has a FB page, Hannah Roberts, but I think she wants something outside of that.

ArtFire? I'll have to look into that, Amber Roth. Thanks,
I could make her an easy to use, low cost website if she is interested

I think her husband is going to, but I'm not sure if he knows what he's doing. :D

ArtFire is another place people go to when Etsy doesn't work out for them. HTH!
