Mayor Quan issued a statement commending the police for their "peaceful" eviction of Occupy Oakland, even going so far as to invite occupiers to express their first amendment rights during daytime hours. For Mayor Quan, "peaceful" apparently includes shooting veterans in the face with rubber bullets and putting them in critical condition. Give her a call, and tell her she needs to resign her post so a more "peaceful" mayor can govern.
