Would the world be a different place, with different species and a different geology, had the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs struck a few dozen miles in any other direction? These scientists seem to think so.

Imagine that: a few miles, a few moments of the Earth turning, and the last 66 million years of evolution and geological adjustments would have created a world far different than the one in which he inhabit.
