Wow.


Wow. Eight years ago I started on my week-long solo trip from Denver, down through New Mexico and into Mexico. Here's the SV on historic Route 66.

A few long stretches survive in AZ and NM, though much was covered with I-40

Where did you enter México? We usually cross at Tecate.
Palomas is another quick entry point into Mexico.

Wallace Roberts on this particular trip I was running a day later than planned due to an unexpected illness, so I just went straight South from Denver along I-25 to Juarez. Yes, Juarez. My original plan was to not enter there but I was trying to catch up on time.

Was it in planning for 8 years or did you stop halfway get a job and decide to finish the trip now?

No, eight years ago I started on the trip. Eight years, minus one week ago, I finished the trip.
Ok .
It sort of reminds me of my working holiday around Australia that I started in '84 on an xs650 and finally finished in '04 on an sv650.
I live in west oz now.
