However, upon inspection, CBP officers found that Hill presented conflicting information and was determined to be inadmissable under the VWP.

One must wonder what the "conflicting" information was. Unless she declared she was moving to America to marry an American then the CBP is 100% wrong.

In #TrumpNation no one can hear you scream.

This U.S. Customs and Border behaviour towards an Australian citizen demonstrates "respect, integrity, professionalism"? The info was only conflicting because the officers chose to assign an alternative view.

But yikes, to be treated like a criminal (handcuffed, searched, imprisoned, deported) for this?

Clearly, the new value embedded in this government's policies "all are guilty regardless of being innocent/not."

The most ridiculous, paranoid, rude, provincial Americans are now apparently preferred staff for CBP. Why would she want to immigrate to the US when she's already Australian? So she can have people compliment her accent? Absolutely ridiculous.

Am I missing something? "She was advised that she is no longer eligible for admission under the VWP and must obtain a valid, unexpired visa prior to subsequent entries to the U.S."

At the beginning it says she had a tourist visa for 88 days and the return flight booked, so she never planned to enter under the VWP.
