So, 300 times huh? Out of how many recorded calls, emails and IMs? What exactly is the net value of this program which I assume runs 365 days a year, 24 hours a day?

There was a statement made, and I cannot recall the specific source, but I believe it was in a congressional hearing, where the NSA said that they have so much data from all their electronic monitoring that they cannot process the data.  So... to me, the net value is in the red by hundreds of millions of dollars.
