I haven't found a replacement for Reader yet.

I haven't found a replacement for Reader yet. I know a lot of people moved over to Feed.my but I've been waiting on more options before I pull a trigger.

What are you using? Pros? Con's?

I just want to read. If the article has embedded content (video/podcast) I'd like it to be there in the feed as opposed to opening a new link to access it.

I don't need favorites and I don't need sharing, I just want information.

Much to my surprise, I've been pleasantly surprised by (stock) Feedly.
I'd tried it once before a year or more ago, and my recollection is that I thought it was pretty awful.
Either it's come a long way since then, or I'm an idiot.
Flip a coin.

Feedly is awesome.  I switched a while back and I really don't miss Google Reader anymore.   The default view is horrible, but with some time in the options screen you can make it work just like the Google Reader website or app

Been using Feedly since the day Google announced Google Reader was going away...and I have to say I'm very pleased with it.
It is ok. It gets the job done and has mobile app support and will be getting an API available soon. My preferred mobile app, Press, also has support planned. It is annoying that I need to install a Chrome app to use it, but they are apparently looking to do away with that also. It also could use better Pocket support.

I still like The Old Reader better for interface and Pocket support, but they have no API yet and thus no mobile app support. Considering the hobbyist skeleton crew they have working on it and lack of a business plan, I am less optimistic about its success.

Feedly on Android has been a suitable replacement. Reader want all that hot anyway. My biggest complaint is the way it handles audio links. It uses the the default music app and if you turn off the screen, it stops.

I haven't found a suitable replacement yet, so I'm just not following blogs anymore. Sad face.

I did import my Reader RSS's into Blogger where you can follow RSS's, but there is no multimedia or other content, just an excerpt and a link to the original content.

I'm shutting down Google+ for the night and quite possibly for the weekend.
