I didn't enjoy it that much
I liked it quite a bit. There were a few little plot holes, but I really enjoyed it despite that.

Exactly.. Jason ON someone should tell Hollywood that sci-fi and philosophy won't go together.... It's like doing a horror romance story... Will. Not. Work. Period

I liked it, it was a great film, but, for me, as a prequel to alien, I expected even more if it than it gave...but as a film on its own.. it was great

Tom Jacob Not everyone in the world wants or is happy with simplistic movie plots. Sci-fi and philosophy have gone hand in hand for as long as sci-fi has existed.

Liz Kimber, from what Ridley Scott has said about Prometheous it wasn't really a prequel. Yes, it happens in the same universe, but it wasn't to be watched as though it were happening before Alien. As a standalone movie it was really good, but if people were expecting a prequel they were to be disappointed.

Hmm, I was sold it as a prequel (hence the ending).. so I was disappointed a bit in that sense, but I did enjoy it..

+1 for the philosophical angle though I felt the flick was quite annoying at times, I can't quite explain my disdain though.

All movies are predictable. Do you want to know how Dark Knight Rises ends? Or how about Titanic? There are only 5 stories to be written and once you've understood that you can predict just about anything.

And Prometheus was a good movie. Like you said, we knew none of them were going to make it home, but how it played out was the question and it played out well. Not to mention the philosophical questions posed by the movie and the nature of good and evil (if one believes in those things).
