I'm glad to see more Americans, more prominent Americans, standing up to bigotry with more than lines in a speech. People like this council-woman who believe if you're going to breed an environment of hate then you shouldn't do it in our neighborhoods.

In the past six months I have spent so much more money on Michael Kors and Calvin Klein products vs dollars spent at Chick-fil-a in my entire life.

Gee I love that brand of chicken. Guess it makes me a "terrible person" because I only eat that brand of fast food chicken.

Labels - damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Now why is it that over the years my friends in the gay community haven't thanked me for supporting Michael and Calvin?

I eat there usually twice a week.  Love the place, and have never had a bad experience at a Chik-Fil-A.  Your approach is a sensible one.  Unfortunately, there's bunch of clowns out there who want to accuse a guy like me of "supporting hate" just for wanting to eat a delicious chicken sammch.  Makes it nearly impossible to take them or their position seriously if they're going to be such knee-jerk morons.

Absolutely.  We have the right to our own beliefs and have the right to express them.  We don't have the right to force our beliefs on others.  It just seems like too many people go into attack mode whenever we have someone expressing a differing opinion, especially in religion, politics, and social issues.

Darn, now I really want Chik-Fil-A and its Sunday.

That's right!  The whole storyline with Bane is a transparent depiction of the Occupy Movement, and to see his loyal followers beaten down by police and a filthy 1%er like Bruce Wayne is utterly contemptuous!  And then there was the sceen in which Batman and Catwoman went through the Chik-Fil-A drive-thru in the Batmobile!

That movie is filthy, FILTHY propaganda for right wing fringe hate groups.

You can go right ahead and be as angry as you please about the Batman flicks.  Not thrilled with Nolan's stuff.  The Bat-nipple phase was horrible.  I do like the Michael Keaton ones, but those are pretty dated now.

What are your thoughts on the animated Batman features?

I'm shutting down Google+ for the night and quite possibly for the weekend. Why? This stupid #gifwars thing people are so proud of. This Adam Black guy said he doesn't like gifs and now everyone is mass trolling him. Having been mass trolled like this I can relate to him easily enough. Have an opinion and the collective might of Google+'s lower class denizens jump on a bandwagon. I just saw a post where someone wanted to jump on board and had to get clarification she was tagging the proper Adam Black. She wasn't even connected to him ! Nor was she a part of the original discussion. She just wanted to follow the herd. When I called her out of it she claimed, "one gif doesn't make a troll." Perhaps not, but she's contributing to a larger troll effort. One straw doesn't break the camel's back, but thousands will. So, tonight, Google+ disgusts me. It probably will tomorrow as well. And possibly Sunday. I gave up Google+ for two months this spring
