This is so awesome! Too bad I won't be in the market for a new phone for another year or more.

An Android Blackberry? I hope it works and BlackBerry will still be making devices when I need an upgrade.

Total rumor still. All the pictures are renders.

Well, let's hope it proves accurate.

Any particular reason as to why you wouldnt try it now w/o being full droid?

I won't be in the market for a while either. Still plenty of life left in my current phone.

This is good. I had pretty much every BlackBerry T-Mobile ever sold. I enjoyed the Q10 quite a lot. I would love the passport but my note4 is giving me all I need. It would be interesting to see how this all plays out for RIM

Colin Fahey, I don't understand your question.

I think its a silly idea. Blackberry should stick to what they know.
Colin Fahey said…
What I meant, Jason ON, would you try a blackberry device now?

I'm just not interested in big phones anymore. Tired of having to dedicate two hands to operate a phone, especially just to type a quick text or email. Passport is as big as I'm going to go. The Classic is looking far more convenient to use. Bigger isn't necessarily better.
Jason ON said…
Colin Fahey, I would, yes. But I won't/can't for financial reasons.
James Karaganis said…
Yeah, that whole money thing.

That's why there's still plenty of life in my current phone.

Understandable Jason ON . Keep an eye out for used devices.
If you want a physical keyboard device, go straight to the classic or if you have the extra $$ jump to the Passport.
For a virtual keyboard, go straight to the Z30 which can be had for under $250 generally, or wait to see about the slider.
Colin Fahey said…
If you want just a feel of the device, I think Z10's can be had for a little over a $100
Wouldn't mind a blackberry, never did get one, might be about time.
Colin Fahey said…
Keep in mind, that anyone that goes for a Z10, that they are battery destroyers. Better off with the Z30 overall.

To be fair, wayne coleman, BlackBerry is a manufacturer while Android is an OS.

Here is a link that purports to show the phone, maybe a developer version: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=1032949
Personally I'm not interested in the phone stricly based on the size. I do hope it is a major success for Blackberry, this could be the make it or break it phone. If it is a major failure this could be the last phone we see from BB. That is not want I want to see.
