All of these are true and I guess I didn't notice because recently because I spend so much time on G+. But, reading this I am thinking about all the annoying status updates on FB and I'm glad I'm over here.

Closed my facebook accounts. I prefer to circle people that are interesting and have something interesting to say/share and not just because we had a Spanish class or whatever together in the 8th grade.

I still have FB, but it's for IRL friends and people who haven't made the the decision to come over here yet. Which is a lot.

I have enjoyed much more interesting posts and better conversations here than what happens on facebook. I like this staying separate and don't consider this a facebook replacement.

What I really want to happen here is for people to stop trying to have in-depth conversations on twitter. My professional group, for instance, holds weekly "twit chats" that annoy more than provide good conversation.
