Information is information, Gene C, no matter how pretty the package.

The long version. I didn't look at the links but I'm assuming it's Meyers/Briggs. I'm pretty familiar with the test. For the highest accuracy you need the 500 question version.

It is the MB, Brenda Curtis. I have taken it 4 times, both long and short. I'm always INTP.

Yeah its Myer Briggs aka MBTI I believe.. and I do agree, longer questionaires would lean towards better accuracy, but it also would bore the heck outta people and they might start rifling thru answers to get thru it.

I've also come to the conclusion and I did discuss it briefly with the lecturer who was getting my class to do the profiling that our personal MBTI profiling can and would most likely chance as we go along..

Gene C  a real Meyers/Briggs is a proctored exam and you have to fill out all the questions. The repetitiveness is built in for a reason. :)

The full bang-on one yeah.. but for someone like me (who's self diagnosed myself as being borderline ADHD) 500 pretty repetitive questions would bore the shiznit outta me after 1-200 questions LOL

I took it twice-once for DoJ clearance and once for private sector job. I didn't mention my degree. I figured it was on my resume. :)

Ahh I haven't come across it being used as an official profiling  tool for job interviews or suitability yet in this neck of the woods, but I have done it as part of one of my modules, then once at a job seeker fair, and maybe twice online.. but none were longer than 150-200 questions.

I haven't run across it as a profiling tool, either.

We use something called Predictive Index - which is a similar assessment tool, and it is most definitely being used to make team alignment/fit decisions.
