http://taggalaxy.de/ has been around a long time. Give it a search term and it will create these wonderful "globes" of images drawn from Flickr. Each image remains linked back to its Flickr source. Give it a try. Grab the globe to give it a spin. Its use of Flash likely means its days are numbered.
