On Christianity:

On Christianity:

"Do you think yourself a Christian if you oppress the poor? ...If you enrich yourself by making others poor? If you wring your food from others' tears? A Christian is a man who ... never allows a poor man to be oppressed when he is by ... whose doors are open to all, whose table every poor man knows, whose food is offered to all."

If you are a self-described christian, do you follow the tenets of the faith?

A tenet is a belief. A tenant is someone who rents a property.

Crap, did I spell that wrong? Okay, I'll fix it. Let's face it, I can't be both pretty and smart. :D

It's a burden, for sure :)
It is time for The Church of Hate to get out of The House of God.

I was raised Catholic but do not attend church and do not practice the faith nor do I push it on my children. They attend public schools. I have become, and want them too, be open to everything and find their own beliefs. I find that I've become sceptical of A God or any "higher power". It's hard for me to believe in something when science and evolution has proven itself right from the creation of earth. Science created earth; not A God. However, if others believe the latter to be true I'll not argue. To each their own. I'll believe the latter when I see it all for myself.

As for practicing Christianity; I believe in being kind and helpful and respecting others' differences regardless of race, sex or religion. That's what makes us individuals.
