Always be aware painted stripes and lines and painted road arrows are slippery in dry conditions and slick as oil in wet conditions.

I've spent a lot of time commuting on single, left, HOV highway lanes. Along with the high beams, I've found success staying on the right side of the lane, about 1 second behind the car in front, eliminating the temptation for the slow/stopped cagers to the right, from pulling out in front of me.

I've sat in my fair share of traffic as well. In my opinion, riding a little more aggressively than defensively makes me feel a little more comfortable while surrounded by cages.

Maybe it's because I think better when going faster. ;)
