Poor pups. 10 year ban isn't long enough, and they amount they have to contribute towards vet bills isn't enough. Scum.

Will Keaney So you are saying this story isn't true or do you see not a thing wrong with this?  Or maybe you are one of those who wants free of speech, only your speech is free, others you disagree with is banned, right?

Will Keaney and that means what, exactly?  This post isn't a declaration on the journalistic integrity of the Daily Mail, but rather about dog abuse. Do you have a comment about dog abuse?

This is why I don't have a dog. I just can't stomach the idea of leaving such a social animal alone for ten hours or more each day that I go to work.

Richard Orth I had 6 Saint Bernard, in my working years.  The love on their face when I came home made my day.   I believe they waited for that coming home and that long walk, (ps I needed that walk with a true friend).

Robert L Melvin I have had both experiences. Our first dogs (Scotties) were home with mom all day and happy to greet us when school was over. They were well behaved. The Yorkie that followed was super sweet but tore up the house every day when left alone.

Jason ON , Robert L Melvin , I deplore animal abuse, and those who participate in it.
This article may be true, but the Daily Mail has a history of sensationalizing, and in some cases inventing, stories. I always seek other sources before lending credence to one of their articles. Each time I've done this, it has shown the DM to be liars. I haven't performed that research for this article.

I'm shutting down Google+ for the night and quite possibly for the weekend. Why? This stupid #gifwars thing people are so proud of. This Adam Black guy said he doesn't like gifs and now everyone is mass trolling him. Having been mass trolled like this I can relate to him easily enough. Have an opinion and the collective might of Google+'s lower class denizens jump on a bandwagon. I just saw a post where someone wanted to jump on board and had to get clarification she was tagging the proper Adam Black. She wasn't even connected to him ! Nor was she a part of the original discussion. She just wanted to follow the herd. When I called her out of it she claimed, "one gif doesn't make a troll." Perhaps not, but she's contributing to a larger troll effort. One straw doesn't break the camel's back, but thousands will. So, tonight, Google+ disgusts me. It probably will tomorrow as well. And possibly Sunday. I gave up Google+ for two months this spring
