I hadn't been to Roxborough State Park in a couple of years. A friend of mine happened to be on that side of town and when the subject of "what next" popped up we decided to check it out as neither of us had been there before. Me, because dogs are not allowed and her because she never really went outside or explored her surroundings. I decided to go today and for the first couple of hours the sky was overcast with a solid ceiling of grey. It wasn't until the clouds cleared that the full Majesty of the park became apparent.
The remnants of this tree were sitting on a trail I was hiking and I couldn't not take a photo of it. Sadly, all I had on me was my phone, but I was able to grab this image which I liked in black and white.
I keep forgetting to use this app, especially for the types of posts I would have made on Google+. As it is, here's a photo of my boots while I waited for a doctor's appointment: As I Sit Here Waiting ...
