It's a very touchy subject there as whole cities are being taken over and turned into other countries. There are large areas where if you are not the right colour or speak the right language you should never go near them.

Stephen Dickson, I remember that from living in Germany. Whole neighborhoods might have been "Turkish" or "Muslim" and Americans were persona non grata. I think anywhere with a diverse population is going to have the sort of neighborhoods where people of a kind flock together and anyone else is considered an outsider. They just need to feel inclusive to the overall community in order to move beyond any existing fears. Luckily, within a generation or two, as children are brought up in schools with other children, they start watching the same TV shows and living the local culture, communities can move beyond the fear of outsiders.
