Jason ON my first husband Butch owned a tire recycling company. While married to him I learned more than the average human being about tires. 
Let me just say, I wouldn't trust a tire from China National Chemical. Now Yokahamas? Those are fantastic tires! 
I'm telling you, I know stuff.

Also, before someone tries to correct me, I know that Yokohama is in Japan. I'm pointing out that not all Asian countries produce the same level of products.

I love my Pirelli tires and think they're so much better than much of their comparable competition. I'd hate to see the quality go down just so Pirelli can get a foothold in China's market.

I'm currently on Angels (and Demons). They replaced the Strada which was my favorite tire ever.
