For those of you who love these little "never was" moments that can add depth to an otherwise bland story, it appears as though Sony had every intention of bringing in Spider-Man's arch nemesis, the Green Goblin to the "Amazing" franchise, but just didn't have the fuel to go through with it.

That's okay. AS2 wasn't the best movie.
