The fun thing about anonymous is the lack of accountability. Don't get me wrong, they've done some good stuff. This article, though? Where did "State Sponsored Attacker" jump to "The US Government and the NSA"? Certainly not in the articles the author cited.
Closing it won't help if you were already hacked ... however the gov spying you is garbage and I can't believe citizens still allow these people to enact laws to bypass your fudamental freedoms.
Uh, okay! So the NSA now knows I'm actually a pretty boring person. I do cheat on my taxes! They gotta know I can stand this circus they call the presidential election, an I'll probably write in my own candidate. Wait, wait I have accidentally stolen, yes it was accidental, items from Walmart!
So, Minnesota would rather people not be able to advance themselves without the officiating organization paying a fee, first? Do libraries have to pay a fee to lend books? Do documentaries put together by universities have to pay a fee first? If I move into the state and give away old college text books, do I have to pay a fee first? http://www.forbes.com/sites/evapereira/2012/10/19/minnesota-bans-free-online-education/

That one's a much better article.
You are exposed whether or not you have one.
You would have to refuse to talk with all Gmail addresses.
