Well, that's a damn shame. What the mobile phone industry needs is more competition in operating systems not less and there's really no one else out there trying to compete against Android and iOS. Microsoft had a shot, so did Ubuntu. Samsung was supposed to bring us Tizen but relegated it to their smart watch line. PalmOS is gone and so is BBOS. Both of which were great programs that just couldn't get their apps together. Which is ironic considering Google has been trying to do away with native apps and instead turn their sights to virtual apps run over networks.

Like I said, it's a damn shame.
