"When Ryan did not cooperate with a trip to see the principal, authorities say, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and petit larceny." the entitled prick did it to him self. If he was a responsible individual and not a prick, this would have been a non issue.

And if you read further down, Lorne Thomas​, the kid's account differs from the school officer's.

The question is, should this have gone to court, or even made into a deal, over 65¢? This is another example of police escalating a situation instead of deescalating.

Jason ON I will side with the African American adult police officer and African American Principal on this one. I know how truthful a 15 year old can be. But you chose what is true for you, thats cool.

Well, apparently there's video so we'll know the truth soon enough.

That being said, I also gave more weight to the officer and principal's claims, but we have to consider they might be lying as we've seen happen time and time again when a student makes an accusation against the school.
