It's absolutely commonplace. They used to do this when I worked on farms. I've been vegetarian for 33 year now, though!

That's my point...
Human cannibalism is a disturbing thought...
But we are not talking about THAT....

Even the first sentence of the article you linked  pointed that out:
For non-human cannibalism, see Cannibalism (zoology).

Just because it is a disquieting topic - Does not mean that it is reasonable to anthropomorphize it.

Many other species cannibalize... And it is not against their nature to do so... It is perfectly normal... And that goes for pigs / boar too.
