On the other hand it is stopping artists or publisher's making money by taking a photo of someone elses work without crediting the original artists or designer.

It means, Hugh Smith​, that you cannot take a photo of p pretty much, anything in the UK now. No cars in the background, no photos of people inside a furnished building, or on a street, or photos of your coffee at the coffee shop or anywhere that's not in a forest for fear of a licensing suit.
