Wow dude. Good luck, and I hope you give him a good heart-to-heart talk about why you're returning the invitation. And I hope you don't lose a friend because of it. This situation sucks.

I marked that I'd  go, but I won't be happy about it. I've also decided that should she go apeshit crazy again I'll not hesitate to record it. last time I was being considerate for my friend, but not any more.
