On a side note, if you like the Dance series, the Half-Orcs ties into the Dance series heavily. He also brings in the Paladin series to make this complex set of characters in a changing world.

Half-Orcs... I seem to remember trying to read a book about half-orcs and couldn't get past the first hundred pages because it was so incredibly boring. The author doesn't look right, though.
