Yes, no one cares about what he rants about aside from the 4 million people who watch each episode, the countless people who listen to his podcast and read his website, and the HBO'S execs who signed him for his 12th season.

Guys like maher likely think of themselves as too smart for the masses, just sick of his 'Im smarter than you' attitude. Te left is supposedly more tolerant than the right of differing opinions, all I'm hearing from the left is more of the same hate speech.

He definitely comes across as smarter than the talking heads across the aisle. I do agree that it's unfortunate that so many of the talking heads on the left have sunk to the rude name calling that made the talking heads on the right famous. I guess it's what gets listeners/viewers/ratings though.
