Sony Sony is trying real hard to create a #Spider-Man universe. They have a Venom solo movie coming out even though the symbiote hasn't been I trounced yet; a Miles Morales (animated) film coming out this winter and strapped plans for the Sinister Six to appear on film.

Now, they're looking to other #SpiderMan characters. This time, Silk, a character introduced relatively recently into the mythos, but who's story goes back to early Spider-Man tales.
