Did you ever think The Secret of NIMH was scary? I never found it even remotely unnerving. Maybe it's because I'm not a pansy millennial?

I loved this film as a child. I didn't think it was creepy I thought it had style.

Not scary. Fascinatingly dark, maybe, especially considering how lighthearted much of the other animated content of the time was.

Well then, don't let them watch the Dark Crystal, or Something Wicked this way Comes. Neither of which are scary, unless your comparison is a movie about intelligent rats helping a field mouse save her son.
