But, at least with his "America first" rhetoric we can expect to see more funds coming to NASA​, right?

It doesn't matter. GWB cut NASA's funding so we had to purchase from Russia and the order was made in good faith that the final product would be sound. Manufacturing cuts resulted in a nonfunctional rocket. #DonaldTrump who, as the executive, controls these things now.
