The above image is pretty much saying the term "bae" is only for stupid period to use to describe their boy or girlfriend.
Apparently this term for "boyfriend" is weeding its way into younger generations of women.
New slang terms will allways start from poorest less educated people that exist in large groups, ALWAYS.
Affluent people alienate themselves.
We have enough greedy people to push a cost on everything that makes humanity. and the cost to make sure everyone has some standard level of communication you will generate these slangs and it will start from a vast majority which just happen to be impoverished.
