Saw your profile, Laura Stamps. I went to basic training at Fort Jackson, waaaaaaay back in the day. I live in Colorado now but am currently wintering in Florida. I'm a friggin snow-bird! Ha ha ha ha!

I grew up in Florida, so basic (which was July, August and September for me) wasn't too bad. It wasn't great, though.
