Does this mean #DonaldTrump is just tired of being dogged by the investigation, is he scared of where it might go or is he just hoping his massive business skills will spare him some embarrassment? Or something else?

He's trying to control what he has zero control over, and I'm pretty sure Mueller will decline this offer. But that being said, Donald can say that he tried to cooperate with Mueller, but Mueller didn't want to and just wanted to draw out the investigation.
