Proposed 'Suits' spinoff to start filming in Chicago this week

The Season 7 finale of “Suits” — a USA Network legal drama that's set in New York but mostly filmed in Toronto — is slated to serve as a backdoor pilot for a potential series that would follow lawyer Jessica Pearson (played by Gina Torres) as she navigates Chicago politics.
