The religious right - the so-called 'moral majority' - has abandoned their religious convictions for political power. I see it. Charles Blow sees it. Why can't those who hold a Bible in one hand and preach Trumpism from the other see their hypocrisy? Are they so enamored with being in power that they knowingly forego their religion's teachings to have just a little more?

Yes, lust for the power to impose their views is the driving force behind the "right". There is no morality or ethics... It's just lust for domination. IMO
