No one seems to be on the right side of this exchange.
No one seems to be on the right side of this exchange. It looks like the bikes were riding like jackasses and one tried to intimidate the SUV driver by slamming his brakes in front of the Land Rover. The Rover ended up running over at least one bike(r) and then took off, the remaining bikers in hot pursuit. When they finally catch the driver they break his window and presumably take out street justice.
I'll see if I can find an article on this video anywhere for more information.

The bikes were riding like assholes. I get so tired of seeing videos of sport bikes doing crap like this: darting in and out of traffic, blocking roads and bridges so they can do their stunting, etc....
It's also a little tough to see in the video because it's a distance away and the bikes are blocking the view but my next question would be....
Why did this driver all of sudden take off and plow thru the pack? Was it road rage? Did they just get a little nervous by being surrounded? Or were they threatened by someone in the pack where they thought their life was in danger?
Agree Celeste. Street thugs.
Unfortunately, regular "joe citizen" sees us all the same. It's idiots like this that will ruin it for all of us. And this story is getting national news attention now. So be prepared for the backlash from the non-riding public.
If you ride like an asshole, be prepared to die like an asshole.
If you want respect on the road, then you have to give it. Packs like this have absolutely no regard for anyone else around them. If you watch the video slow from the beginning you can see the rider in white pushing his way into the SUV's lane right next to the drivers window. When the SUV didn't get freaked out, that is when the rider pulled around in front of the vehicle and put on his brakes. Which is when the SUV bumped him from behind. If you're going to mess with a vehicle on the road that's bigger than you, you don't have the right to be mad or surprised if things go wrong.
My position may be extreme to some but I just get angry because as an ABATE member, we're constantly fighting for motorcyclists' rights. Then I see videos of sport bike riders who dart in and out of traffic unsafely, doing stunts on roads and bridges while the rest of pack blocks off the traffic, etc..... We spend our time fighting for motorcyclists' rights and they're going to ruin it for all of us.
