That's weird. My Goggles app, when I tried to launch it from one of the home screens, indicated it wasn't installed on the device even though the icon was there. Open the app drawer, find the icon and it launches just fine. Go back to the home screen and it's still "not installed" on this device.

I have had that happen a few times with various apps. I just delete the icon off the screen and then replace it from the app drawer.
