Facebook bought Instagram, right? I don't pay a lot of attention to this stuff. The only thing I found interesting is I heard tumblr is pro-porn, more or less, so it seems yahoo is trying to use sex, as a Hail Mary pass? Versus the traditional puritanical corporate family values. Better to go down in flames than just to go down?
Last year Facebook bought instagram for $1 billion dollars, haw haw haw... ahem, excuse me, I was having a Dr. Evil moment.
This morning, Yahoo bought Tumblr for $1 billion dollars, haw, haw, haw...
Damn, can anyone say one billion dollars without using a Dr. evil voice?
I wouldn't classify Tumblr as pro-porn so much as they don't police porn. I mean, you can have a porn Blogger or Wordpress site, too, if you want. Amateur porn sharers have found their home on Tumblr, though. Most other social sites frown on boobies and such.
So, Minnesota would rather people not be able to advance themselves without the officiating organization paying a fee, first? Do libraries have to pay a fee to lend books? Do documentaries put together by universities have to pay a fee first? If I move into the state and give away old college text books, do I have to pay a fee first? http://www.forbes.com/sites/evapereira/2012/10/19/minnesota-bans-free-online-education/
