Wow. I forgot why I hate coming here. Matinee is $10.50/pp? Oh, and extra holiday pricing because normally it would be $5? And then another $13.50 for a popcorn and drink?

So, $24.00 to take myself to the movies. This is why people pirate.

I figure 3 downloaded movies then I can justify paying sticker price for one. And don't forget the 20 bucks to buy the movie if you want to own it, on top of paying for the cable to see it there, oh and when the collector's edition is released you need that too. how many times do we pay for a movie?

Blame the movie studios. The Theaters have to charge these obscene prices to pay the studios. Now if they started including a digital copy of the movie you pay to see in theaters... THAT would make those prices worthwhile.
