Markups. I knew about bottled water, wine and movie theater popcorn but I didn't know about text messaging. That just makes me mad.

Consumers Interesting read: I heard that golf clubs, bottled water and eyeglasses topped the list of most marked up items.. but perhaps golf clubs and eyeglasses don't meet the criteria of "products you should avoid." Bottled water did make the list.
