I didn't have a problem with the Canto Bight scene. In fact, if you're a reader like I am, it was a good scene. It seems out of place but it demonstrates when good intentions go horribly wrong. The Scene also sets up the epilogue to the movie: a young boy hearing of Luke Skywalker's solo stand against unbeatable odds and beating them. He gave an entirely new generation hope.
