Just found out my neighbor was in Las Vegas during the shooting. He says he and his wife were a block away when all the screaming and running started. Of particular note, he witnessed a North Las Vegas officer duck behind a barrier while people were running frantic.

I seen a couple of pictures where police where ducking and the people around them were all calm and acting like nothing was going on.
