So, when did the three dots menu to +1, Reply, Edit, etc. on a comment become a scrolling menu as opposed to a simple popup?

A few days ago for me. Annoying as hell. I didn't notice the scrollbar at first and thought most of the options had disappeared.

It's a bunch of extra clicks. Very irritating.

Same thing here, James Karaganis. It's just more clicks and confused me for the first few seconds as I thought most of the options had disappeared.

Apparently it just reverted back to normal for me (it almost seems a bit larger and easier to read.) Probably some dev didn't set the relative window size large enough and the scrollbars automagically appeared. Surprising that got past their dogfooding and QA.

Yep. Looks more like coder error than a design change (because that would have been pretty damned stupid even for G+.)
