I'm a gun owner and a veteran. I believe Americans have inalienable rights to own, and in some cases carry, firearms, but this chief is right: too many legislatures and passing carbon copies of National Rifle Association agendas and making the streets more unsafe in the process. What's worse is their silence on the escalating gun violence after the fact.
