Would you watch a non-Steve Rogers Captain America film? Knowing the history of the character and the mantle I'll say yes, but many people who are fans of the films, not the books, may not.

It would be a risky gamble for Marvel Entertainment​. Maybe a Captain America: US Agent?

Or better yet, Steve Rogers without Captain America, in the form of Nomad.
