Isn't Texas supposed to be the home of little to no government interference?

Don't get me wrong, the reason we cut grass is to keep wildlife, such as snakes and rodents, away from residential areas. High grass can also be a fire hazard in certain seasons.

And yet Texas loves being the home of anti government sentiment.
